Hello 👋 the trail to Hawk Falls is approximately 1.2 miles and is rocky in spots with roots and loose gravel. There’s an elevation change of 135 feet from the parking lot to the falls.

We still have high hopes for the train - we're on the right track.

Imagine the cost for daily commute would be , you think the Martz bus is expensive wait and see a weekly train ticket cost . if they actually do bring a train to the pocono the high ticket cost would probably offset the operating cost , then it’s back to square one, driving to nyc

We’ve looked at the math and a monthly pass would be more cost effective than paying for tolls, parking, and gas when commuting daily to the city.

. I hiked on that section from Glen Onoko to Penn Haven Jct a few years ago in the fall. If I get there at a good time on Friday, may attempt White Haven to Black Diamond area.

Hmmmm. That is 11 miles one way..... and up hill going north. That is 2 hrs for me....

That must have been nice in the fall.

It's probably worth the hike, nice area there.
